More Surf Breaks than you can Handle!

Surf travel is largely influenced on the destination and the proximity it is to quality surf breaks.  There is nothing better than walking out of your resort and being able to check the surf right out front!  A number of our surf destinations have more than just one perfect wave in front of the resort and one particular destination has more surf to choose from than any other.

The Ventana a las Olas surf resort in Nicaragua sits at the center of a 15 mile stretch of pristine warm water beaches known as the Popoyo Surf Zone.  That don’t call this stretch of coast a “surf zone” for nothing, there are 10+ nearby breaks with a variety of waves including; hollow A-frame sandbars, river mouths, rocky reef points and even a big slab monster left called Outer Reef.  You can check the surf at 4 of the main breaks from the Ventana a las Olas pool or any room in the house and be in the water in minutes.

“The variety of surf crammed into Nicaragua’s southern stretch of coast is absolutely mind-boggling.  With near constant offshore winds from sun-up to sundown, it really becomes a matter of what you feel like surfing that day.”
