In partnership with the Groundswell Society the SDSU Center for Surf Research is hosting the 10th annual Surfing Arts, Science, and Issues Conference on February 10-11th. This years theme is “Surfing’s New Aloha: The Growing Trend of Giving Back”.

Beginning with an evening screening of film Manufacturing Stoke on Friday Feb 10th, and then all day Saturday Feb 11th with presentations and panels involving key figures in the surf industry, surfer driven non-profits, pro surfer/activitsts, surf journalists, film makers, and magazine editors.  This will be a great event for anyone involved in the surf industry or looking to help in developing a culture towards sustainability.  It has all the makings of an epic event and we would love to see you there!
