Tahiti surfing information

Hi Jamie,
It's Sara, one of the expert fisherman from Eric Wechsler's surfing charter. I just wanted to drop you a quick line to say thank you for everything. From the accomodations on the boat, to the your expertise of the island, to the outstanding food, to welcoming us into your home for Easter dinner with your family, the entire experience was unmatched and impossible to beat. Our time with your charter made staying at a 4 star hotel seem like below average and second best. Because of your warm, welcoming spirit and my experiences during our stay at the "hotel on water", I left Tahiti with memories that will last a lifetime. So, thank you so much again - for everything.

Christina - I just wanted to thank you for all your help with putting my
trip package together for the trip on the Runaway with Brett Whitman and
friends.

I had a great trip. Jamie and his crew, Edwin and Temaana (sp) really took
care of us. The boat is clean, the food good, and their wave knowledge had
us in surf every day. We did get some really good surf but missed the swell
we were hoping for by 1 day. Such is the life of a surfer. When the swell
was small they still put us into the best surf that was to be found at any
of the reef passes. The weekend was the only time we had other surfers
(locals) in the water, During the week it was pretty much just us and the
Runaway crew in the water. That's a treat - no crowds in good waves.

I can say only good things about this charter. I've surfed Indo by land
and boats and this trip in Tahiti on the Runaway is right up there with
those trips. It is the way to see Tahiti (from the water) and surf it. A
big surprise was the time that Jamie and Edwin took to take pictures of
some of our sessions and download them to a CD for us to have at the end of
the trip. This is an unexpected bonus for any surf trip.

We gave it a 9.5 out of 10.. it was a great trip, great food, and all around good time.. we are going back for sure. Everything you told us it would be, it was.. Jaimee is a real nice guy, great cook, and a really good surfer. We had a lot of fun hanging out with him and the Runaway crew. Jaimee always did his best to get us to the best spots daily based on the weather and swell conditions. The boat was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed.. The service was great from day one , all the way thru to the last day at 11 p.m. when they dropped us off at the airport.
