Nemberala Beach Resort - OVERVIEW

On the southwest face of Rote, the Nemberala Beach Resort is offering thoroughly modern tropical lodging with access to a half dozen, top-quality reefs – classically Indonesian waves where, even in this crowded, modern world, the surfer can still seek the perfect wave on the perfect day and be alone with the surf and his thoughts – of why and whether he should ever go home.

The five-acre beachfront property is located directly in front of the main break providing all rooms along with the bar and restaurant a view of the 300+ yard long left reef/point which lies 500 yards off shore.

The large open air restaurant and bar is situated to provide beautiful views of the beach and surf as well as being close enough to the pool area to be convenient for poolside service. Oversized cushions on the lounge furniture will tempt you to do exactly what they are designed to do lounge.

The newly constructed massage/spa unit can accommodate individuals or couples and is equipped with its own garden bathroom complete with hot water shower and oversized shower head. The staff are currently being trained in various styles of massage technique. Be sure to sign up early so you don’t miss out!

The games bungalow is also a new addition and is home to the ping pong table, dart board and full size pool table.
Although it is desired for guests to detach themselves for the demands of business, communications are available by both telephone and internet. We have found that most guests who have an international calling plan are able to utilize their personal cell phones. The main business office does have internet access available by desktop computer. Given the limited band width we do not yet have wireless internet connectivity, but hope this may be available in the near future.
For surfers board storage is available close to the beachside entrance allowing you to keep your room clear and boards handy for the next session.  For those who would prefer the convenience of traveling without surfboards, we have a large quiver of beautiful boards from which to choose.

Three resort boats are available for surf transfers, fishing or island hopping.
