The MV Midas is a 74 ½’ fast attack motor yacht, powered by twin 1100 HP diesel engines, with a top speed of 26 knots, cruising speed of 12 and a range of 600 nautical miles. This is the boat for getting to the surf in a hurry and in total comfort.

All the features of a luxury hotel come standard aboard Midas.  Groups of a maximum 10 guests are comfortably accommodated in four staterooms. That’s right: Staterooms, not cabins or bunks.   The A/C staterooms aboard Midas each have luxury sleeping arrangements, entertainment systems and ensuite bathrooms. (see accommodations).  The main saloon is beautifully appointed with a large dining table, sofas, entertainment and spectacular views.

The two Captains who run the charters, Eric Lee and Jody Perry both have Master 4 Captain’s licenses and over eight years experience in the Mentawai Islands.  The chef prepares generous portions of both Indonesian and Asian dishes.  Beverages, including beer, are provided free of charge; and wine and spirits are available at local prices.  Special requests are happily accepted.

The addition of a 1200cc Yamaha three-seat jet ski is a fun perk for wakeboarding, photography or just cruising around the inshore waters.
