GETTING THERE

FLYING FROM SAN JOSE

From San Jose you can take a 30-minute flight to the tiny airstrip at Tambor. Flights arrive daily from San Jose on Sansa (www.flysansa.com)and Nature Air (www.natureair.com). Blue Surf will arrange a taxi to pick up guests at Tambor. The drive to Santa Teresa from Tambor is approximately 35-40 minutes and the cab fare is $50.00

DRIVING FROM SAN JOSE

The drive from San Jose requires a 1:15 drive to Puntarenas, then a 1:15 hour ferry ride to Paquera. The drive from Paquera to Santa Teresa is 50 minutes  approximately. The ferry schedules fluctuate and with other variables, the total drive time is approximately 5 1/2 - 6 hours.

BUS FROM SAN JOSE
The bus from San Jose is inexpensive and takes about six hours. It is a very comfortable air-conditioned bus.

PRIVATE SHUTTLE
Private shuttle vans from San Jose to Santa Teresa can also be arranged.
