Hey, I just came back from a one week surf
trip to Pico Alto Surf Camp in Peru, and I just
want to say that I loved it. Every day the waves
were at least head high somewhere, the food was
amazing, and the camp service was excellent. Oscar
is really on top of the surf spots, and his knowledge
really helped us. I would recommend staying at
Pico Alto to anyone and everyone.

Peru was incredible. Organos is one of the sickest places I've been to. We didn't catch any north swells but we got Lobitos for about 5 days at head high. So many barrels. The wave is just rippable. Really fun. Victor took care of us at Bungalows Playa Blanca. I definitely recommend staying with him. Just wanted to thank you for setting that part of the trip up for us. I attached some pics taken at bungalows and Lobitos. Thanks again Cris.

Everything went like clockwork and we had a great time there. It is a beautiful resort-a real oasis in an area with very little tourist infrastructure and some sketchy "hotels". I had always wanted to go to Chicama, for well over twenty years, but I’m glad I waited till this place was built. My years of sleeping in crappy "surf hotels" and "surf camps' and there have been many over the years, are over! I’m at the Nihiwatu and now Chicama stage of my life.
A couple of the owners were there when we were there. Great guys! My son and I were treated wonderfully. the accommodations are great, the bar and restaurant is beautiful, the food is great, but best of all, the staff is great, even the young boatman were great, never once laughing at me when I was too tired [or perhaps too old] to pull myself into the boat. They always helped and while I’m sure they connected more with my young son than me, they and everybody else made us both feel welcome. MUY BUENO!!!
