New and Improved: Cardon Adventure Resort

The Cardon Adventure Resort is located on the Sea of Cortez where swells funnel towards the resort and spectacular ocean views can be seen from every angle.  The resort has recently had a face lift and some major upgrades have been done to make it more luxurious for guests.  The resort now looks like a tropical oasis with lush green grass, shade and comfort surrounded by a hot desert landscape.

The Cardon’s accommodations now include eight spacious newly renovated air conditioned rooms – each with private bathrooms. Each room is now well furnished with a view of the entire point of Tiburon.  The main restaurant/bar is situated in the center of the resort, in between the guest suites and features an air conditioned dining area. There is now also dining tables poolside for you to enjoy you meals while taking in a spectacular ocean view.

Meals are served in large surfer size portions and prepared with a cross of American, Mexican and European flare. There is also a large infinity pool with a hot-tub that faces the ocean, overlooking Tiburon point.  Most importantly, the resort has a 16 surfer maximum, which almost guarantees uncrowded surf.

The coastline along the Cardon Adventure Resort is perfectly situated within walking distance between two classic, sand-bottomed, south swell loving left points.  If you have the yearn, the yearn to turn, this is the place for you as Cardon offers almost exclusive access to two long, classic left points.     Can we still book the surf camp up the beach? Our group of 14 has been coming twice a year for 4 years now and all agree the old place is preferred by us.
