The Mela was built new in 2006. Custom designed for surf trips by experienced surfers. Separate air conditioned living and dinning rooms make for plenty of space to spread out. Extra large outside living / observation areas make the Melaluca feel much larger than other 80 foot yachts. The MELALUCA has all safety and navigational instruments, including: Furuno Radar; Furuno GPS; Furuno Echo Sounder; Kenwood SSB Radio; Icom VHF Radio; 7 fire extinguishers; a 20 person capacity life raft; 20 life preservers; SSB and VHF radio communications; 1 EPIRD, flares, smoke and emergency alarms. The vessel is powered by 2 Mitsubishi 320 hp inboard diesel engines, with 2 Mitsubishi PS100250V generators.

· Food: We prepare Indonesian-style, coconut curry, sea food, your fresh catch of the day, BBQ,
