At 15 foot it can be the thrill of a lifetime and at 6 foot, a longboarder’s paradise. Wilkes Pass is known for its powerful right barrels and is good from 3 to 10 feet. Regular footers paradise! Desperations, a right and left peak can save the day if the swell goes flat. Rounding out the jewel setting is Swimming Pools, a playful, wrapping right reef break on the leeward side of the island. Its crystal blue water and sheltered position, makes it one of the world’s most remarkable breaks.
