As I worked my way up the corporate ladder in the
early 90’s these thoughts completely preoccupied
my mind. Not wanting to completely drop from society
and travel the globe as a vagabond, I was determined
to somehow make surf travel my life. With a surf
ability falling short of that required to join the
pro circuit, the next viable option I examined was
to somehow share my knowledge gained through a lifetime
of surf travel. In 1994 WaterWays was born.
